Last night, I had the immense pleasure of visiting the beautiful Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region for an evening of connection and camaraderie with members of the Saguenay Regiment and several representatives of civil society.
It was an opportunity to highlight the upcoming 125th anniversary of this regiment in 2025—a significant milestone in its history.
This reserve forces regiment embodies both dedication and courage in the service of our fundamental values: democracy, freedom, and peace.
In addition to their family and professional responsibilities, these men and women answer the call to protect our country.
