It is with great sadness that I learned of the passing of the Honourable Murray Sinclair.
He dedicated his life to defending human rights, justice, and truth.
His work profoundly changed our country.
Through his commitment, he paved the way for conversations that were sometimes difficult but of immeasurable importance, both for our history and for our shared future.
His legacy will endure through the reforms he inspired and the truths he brought to light, enabling today’s and future generations to move forward.
