Today, we pay tribute to Mr. Richard Tremblay, Founder and President of the Canadian Organ and Tissue Donors Association (CADO), for his exceptional commitment. Since 1983, CADO has worked tirelessly to promote organ donation in Quebec and across Canada.
With a fleet of 11 life-saving units and the dedication of 2,000 volunteer police officers from various forces, ACDO ensures the essential transfer of organs and medical teams throughout Quebec.
Through this exemplary work, ACDO has transported nearly 8,000 organs and inspired society as a whole to sign their donor cards, leaving "Health as a Legacy."
