Today, in the community of Odanak, a training session was held for the Lieutenant Governor's aides-de-camp.
The day began with a workshop to raise awareness on Indigenous realities and continued with a review of the role of aides-de-camp.
We were delighted to be welcomed at the community hall and the Musée des Abénakis, and to enjoy traditional dishes prepared by Chef Jacques T. Watso’s team. We extend our heartfelt thanks for their warm hospitality and generous welcome.
With deep gratitude, I highlight the openness of everyone present to the journey of reconciliation, a value dear to my heart.
I took the opportunity to present the King Charles III Coronation Medal to the attending aides-de-camp, recognizing their dedication and loyalty.
Thank you to each and every one of you! It was a wonderful day.
