It was a true honor for me to receive the very first poppy of Quebec yesterday from veterans of the Royal Canadian Legion.
I encourage all Quebecers to wear the poppy proudly from October 25 to November 11, in tribute to the sacrifices of our soldiers who defended our values of freedom and democracy.
Poppies are also available at the Cabinet, located at 1050 rue des Parlementaires, Quebec, QC, for those who wish to join this important commemoration.
A donation box is available, and contributions will be given to the Royal Canadian Legion.
