We paid tribute to Mr. Hiroshi Awaga for his 40 years of dedication to the world of martial arts and Japanese culture in Quebec.
As the founder of Québec Kendo Kai, he has not only taught kendo but has also instilled values such as discipline, respect, and rigor in generations of practitioners.
In recognition of this exceptional commitment, I had the great honor of presenting him with the Medal for Exceptional Merit, a symbol of our gratitude for his lasting impact on our society.
